Perfect fit for out refrigerator and water tastes great. For anyone new to these filters, make sure when you put a new one in that you run about 2 to 3 gallons of water through it before drinking or using it with your ice maker (turn the ice make off before running the water). After running the water through, then tun the ice maker back on.

Our ice cube maker was failing to produce ice quickly. My wife was all ready to call a repair man to fix the ice maker. I told her to wait until after i replaced the filter. Low and behold, we now have lots of ice once again. Good indicator to know when its time to change the filter.

Easy to install and affordable. Bought this to replace my current water filter and it takes 5 seconds to replace. I recommend taking a gallon jug of water after installing the new filter because there will be slight discoloration with the new filter at first. After you drain about a gallon, your good to go

Bought this as a replacement for the filter that came with our fridge and have to say I am really pleased with the product. From my understanding it's a direct replacement for the filter that came with the fridge, but the water taste is so much better than from the stock filter. Perfect fit. Easy to install.

Local water does not have a pleasant taste, so we use the fridge filter for water all the time. Also for making any drinks like ice tea. Give us a clean, fresh taste, and removed the taste from our local water. Replace as recommended, which for us is about 6 months.

There isn't much to review for this filter. Only to say this is the exact filter my refrigerator takes. You just push the filter and it clicks in. Push again and it clicks out. My refrigerator water was starting to run slow and the ice cubes were getting smaller. Now the water flows out better and the ice cubes have returned to normal.

Filter arrived on time as promised and at a great price.Easy to overlook replacing your filter but it's a must. This genuine Frigidaire replacement filter is perfect, easy to install and makes a difference in our water and taste. Helps us do our part in not buying plastic bottled water.

Installed this a few months ago and it's still working great. I've had problems with cheap generic filters so it's worth a few more dollars to buy the brand name. Be sure to run a gallon or two through it before drinking or making ice, just like you should with any new filter. Some reviewers obviously didn't do that and then complained of cloudy or bad tasting water.

And the correct filter removes more than the expensive one. This time reading and checking that you have the correct filter for your fridge will save you money. The water tastes better, the ice its a lot better tasting and you can not smell the chemicals that are put in our water.
